Beginnings of a baby quilt

Hello there!  I am happy to report that my dance costume order is complete!!  What a great feeling that is.  My mom took on 2 for me thankfully but I did still make 17 in less than 2 weeks.  I'm a little tired and my house is a mess (hahaha!).

My husband has a couple of coworkers that are expecting shortly so this week I'm planning on making a quilt for one and a divided basket for the other (at least thats what I'm planning so far).  I took a teensy break from getting my house back in order to start the quilt.

It's the January block from Lady Harvatine.  I first saw it on instagram and fell in love.  Now back to tidying ;)

Long Time/I'm Back/Schnitzel and boo mini quilt swap (round 2)

So once again it's been far far too long!  I find myself over-comitting and taking on huge giant projects which takes me away from this space.  I'm currently working on one of those said huge projects now.  19 dance outfits due in less than a month.  Thankfully my mom is going to help with a few of them.  After this biggie though I am done taking on huge stuff (famous last words right).

Anyway here is my mini received in the Schnitzel and Boo mini quilt swap (round 2).  I love love love what I received!  Below that is the mini I made for my partner and some of the extras sent.  My partner though never acknowledged it on any social media platform and I found out after that she was not responding to moderators etc. so basically flaked out.  That is the part of swaps that I hate.  And I hate that what I made went to someone who flaked out.  Yuck! But that happens I guess.

Cotton + Steel Gardenia - contest winner

A few weeks back we did a giveaway on our Facebook page.  We ended up choosing two winners.  One of the winners chose the Gardenia dress in this fun lion print by Sarah Watts for Cotton + Steel.  

Making Kid's Clothes

So, I apologize for my absence.  I've been working really hard on a few things that I'll share with you.  I should also apologize this is going to be a very photo heavy post :)

I've been working hard on a bunch of new things for the Etsy shop and a few samples for a shop my cousin runs.

First are some basic leggings in the new Anna Maria Horner knit.  I'm in love with pretty much everything she designs.
